Casarmos is a platform for couples to create the website of their own wedding. In a few minutes, the couple picks a theme, tells their story, sets the date and venue, adds photos and a gift list, and publishes a personal address to share with guests.
What guests get on the site:
- The couple's story: how they met and the moments that matter
- The big day: date, time, ceremony and reception
- Location: address and map to make arriving easier
- Photo gallery: the couple's most important moments
- RSVP: guests confirm attendance without downloading an app or creating an account
- Digital invitation: each family gets its own invite, with the family name on the envelope, opened in 3D, and one tap adds the date to the guest's calendar
- Pix gift list: guests send money straight to the couple's account
The couple manages everything in a private panel: guests, gifts, notifications, account data and the site itself.
Business model:
- Creating and previewing the site is free, with no card required
- Publishing is free with a basic plan, and paid plans are a one-time payment with no monthly fee, offering longer time online, more photos, all themes and password protection
- No ads and no platform logo on paid sites
- Payment integration with transparent checkout, using React hooks to send data to the payment API and receive status updates in real time
- 7-day money-back guarantee, pause without losing paid time, and Pix or card payment
- During the launch promotion, there is no fee on gifts received through Pix
Stack and architecture:
- Front-end: React 19 with React Router (SSR) in TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui components, two apps: the public wedding site and the couple's panel
- Animations: Anime.js for entrance and interaction motion, with reduced-motion support, and Three.js only for the 3D invitation scene
- Back-end: NestJS API with Prisma ORM on PostgreSQL, Zod validation, Helmet and rate limiting
- Auth and services: Firebase for web auth and Firebase Admin on the API, plus Nodemailer for transactional email and QR code generation
- Observability: Sentry on front-end and API
- Quality: Vitest for unit and e2e tests, oxlint for linting
- Monorepo and delivery: pnpm workspaces with Turborepo, Dockerized services with Docker Compose
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions triggers an automatic deploy on Coolify
